A wash cleans the outside of a car in ten minutes. A detail is a deep clean of surfaces and materials — carpet extracted rather than vacuumed, leather cleaned and conditioned rather than wiped, paint decontaminated and protected rather than rinsed. It is measured in hours, not minutes, and the result lasts months rather than until the next rain.

An express interior refresh starts around $89 and a complete interior and exterior detail around $249. Paint correction and ceramic coating are priced after we look at the vehicle, because the honest number depends entirely on the condition of the paint. Every price on this site is a starting price for a normal car — heavy pet hair, smoke or staining are quoted before we start, never added afterwards.

An express interior is about ninety minutes. A full interior is three to four hours, a complete detail five to seven, and a ceramic coating needs the car overnight for a controlled cure. Most jobs are same-day drop-offs.

We come to you — all of it. We arrive with our own water and power, so nothing is needed at your end. Ceramic coatings and heavy paint correction are the two jobs that need shelter and dust-free time, so for those we work in your garage or under cover and the car stays put while it cures. We will say so when you book, not when we arrive.

A full detail once or twice a year, with a lighter maintenance visit every one to three months in between. In mid-Missouri the two that matter most are a spring extraction to get road salt out of the carpet and a sealant before bug season.

Light swirls and wash marring, yes — that is paint correction, and it removes the defect permanently by levelling the clear coat. If your fingernail catches in the scratch, it has gone through the clear coat and no amount of polishing will fix it; that needs paint.

Usually, and permanently, but only by removing the source first. Smoke tar coats the headliner and glass, and ozone will not remove a coating. We clean the surfaces, treat the fabric, then ozone the cabin and the HVAC system. If a smell is structural — soaked into the foam of every seat in an old car — we will tell you it will end up faint rather than gone, before you pay.

If you are keeping the car for years and it lives outside, yes. Washing gets dramatically easier, the paint resists UV fade and chemical etching, and the finish stays glossy without waxing. If you are selling in a year or the car lives in a garage and gets waxed anyway, a sealant is the better value.

Take out anything valuable or personal. That is genuinely it — you do not need to clean it first, and it does not help. Leave the car seats in; we will take them out and clean underneath them.
